The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Haven't tested with all of the smilies, but :rotate: does not render when viewed in mobile. Instead, it just displays the raw rotate (enclosed with colons) text.
Interestingly, it doesn't seem to have rendered in this OP either, on the full site. Here's a link to an example post that is working:

In the source for this page my post looks like:
<div class="Message">
I suspect emoticons are disabled in this subforum, but let's find out.<br />
<br />
:winky: :twisted: :rotate: <img src="/plugins/Emotify/design/images/115.gif" width="29" height="22" alt=":bz" title=":bz" class="bbcode_smiley" /> (*) <br />
<br />
Guess not. Maybe it's just OPs? :shrug: </div>
As you can see the bee gif is included directly and so it shows up; I assume the Javascript which replaces the other emoticons with their respective images either isn't running on mobile devices or has some sort of bug in it which only fails for mobile.
Hmm, looks like emoticons get replaced even inside code tags; that's probably a bug.

Looks like for the OP issue, the emotify javascript only applies to elements in a "Comment" class div, while the OP is enclosed in a "Discussion" class div.
The issue is probably similar for mobile browsers.
Another issue with the mobile forums (I'm on an iPhone, for reference), is that I can't use the agree/awesome functions, since the maintenance.
Edit: unless I load the full site.
There's a lot that you can't do with the mobile forums.

Well, my point was that you could use the agree/awesome functions on the mobile forums before Friday's maintenance.

My issue seems fixed now, thanks to whomever did that!

It seems that any emoticons that are used on the mobile site are only visible on said site? There is usually just a full stop instead on the full site. For instance, to test it, here is an attempt at a smiley: :-)

Hmm, it may be that this fixed now, it renders ok when I look at the full site on my mobile. I'll check on my laptop later.

I think PMs are the same, even on non-mobile, can someone check that?
(Just to test because I didn't know this: italics bold bold italics)
I see italics and bold, what are you using, @emp123? I'm on chrome on iOS

It was right at the end of a sentence, so just for fun I will see if that's the issue .
Edit: Well there you go. Having a period messes up the emoticon. That's not ideal.

And they're gone again.
For me, anyway.
Satans..... hints.....
I should have favorited the thread...anyway, I see bold but not italic and bold italic shows up as just bold.
I'm also missing the agree/awesome buttons.
