Splitting a document in open office

I have a fairly large document in Open Office that I am trying to email to myself, it is 22 pages long which while not huge by any messure has the additional issue of having at least one large grayscale image per page. Is there a simple way to spit this into pages of say two and make 11 documents or am I fucked and have to go find my flash drive to move this damned project to a printer?

Download winrar and compress it to a .rar archive. If it's still too big to email you can make a split-archive and send each part separately, and reassemble it later.

Opps missed a minor detail, I need to get this onto a campus computer to print for free, and while it IS possible to install stuff on their machines they don't care for it very much if you know what i mean. Is this something I'll need to install on their end to open it?

Do the computers have Acrobat or another PDF reader installed? You could use the print-to-PDF feature to print a couple pages each into separate files.

    Do those computers run WinXP?

Put it in a .zip file, see if that helps.

Open office has a build in export-to-PDF function, so that is probably your best best. Just state the pages you want to export, no need for an external pdf-program.

You could also either upload it to a web host if you have one (most ISPs provide you with a smidgen of free hosting) or use one of those free file transfer services such as http://www.sendthisfile.com/ (haven't tried them myself).

Oh, what am I thinking of? Use Google Mail! I should have some free invites if necessary. Just use google mail to mail the file to yourself and then log on at college to retrieve the mail and file.
