    I never in my life gave much thought to what a producer does, but after watching this, I suddenly want to find out as much as I can. It really sounds like the role for people like me.

    As someone who has produced films, I have to say how much I hate producing. Producing is all the niggly details, it's dealing with money and making sure everything stays on target, and dealing with the people to make sure they are focused on their job (and sometimes stroking an ego or two to keep them content, so that they deliver when it comes time). Yeah, producing. There is no glamor in it.

    I can now say after watching this video, that if I ever sought a career in the games industry, I'd likely be a producer.

    Also thanks for these awesome videos, my gaming partner went on a 5 day holiday and I'm out of backlogged anime, visual novels, and games in general. This is filling that time void amazingly. Much love <3.

    Somewhat curious, can you be both a game designer and producer? Like you come up with some of the idea and mechanics, but in the end you leave many of the nitty gritty of that to lower tier designers and the program and art people, you'res still the big picture guy, trying to keep everyone working together etc, haha, kind a curious if the two can even mix or if that's actually inherent in producing.

    Anyone else look at the art and cry a little bit when they are all teary eyed. Like the features box when it found out you cannot produce it to the level of satisfaction of the programmer?

    Came here to learn about being a producer... decided, I WANT TO BE A PRODUCER! I can so do this. Just how do I start? classes? What? Awesome vid btw, this is my first time and first video here on PA. Glad I came.
