Importing figurines

Hi, I need to import a series of figurines as a classification other than 'Toy'. Does anybody import collectible figurines under a classification that is not 'Toy'? Primary market is Australia, but any advice would be valuable.
Much appreciated, thanks

If you're looking far a way around customs fees or something, you're most likely out of luck. In some countries you can alleviate such fees by limiting the total value of individual packages though.

How about art or collectibles? (If such classifications exist...)

Yeah, I'm curious why you need a different term, but collectibles works, if that's a category.

Maybe you've already got the word though - figurines. There's so many KINDS of figurines out there that it'd be hard to justify someone who doesn't know that it's toys or who doesn't collect toys automatically jumping to the word 'toys'.

I assume the reason is to avoid safety laws that are meant to apply to children, like lead paint or choking hazards? Then you should be fine if you just say that they're for adults (but perhaps phrased such that it doesn't get mistaken as a box of sex toys either).

Maybe OP wants to ship toys that have batteries included. I know Mattel had some trouble with international shipping and batteries.
