and by that I mean that I'm really into playing games (generally I get in at least half a dozen games of various sorts a week), but also that I'm into the whole discussion around them too. WarmaHordes is my latest thing, there's so much about those games that you can talk about with fellow players, tactics, the metagame, new releases, new combinations of units and abilities, I'm really into it. Also Tabletop RPGs, I really enjoy playing a character or running a game with some good friends, having fun, overcoming challenges and just in general doing some cool roleplaying. Right now I'm running a game of L5R for a group of about five, and also playing a Savage Worlds Superheroes game and a World of Darkness Hunter/Cop style game. All lots of fun and good excuses to hang out with the buddies.
Comic books are another hobby of mine. Again, it's not just reading them but also building up my collection of trades, discussing the future of the industry, talking about various characters and storylines, what would be cool, what's good and what's not, all that stuff.
So yeah, those are my current hobbies. The latter is perhaps more personal because you read the comics and enjoy them by yourselves, and then talk about them later (which I do mostly on the GV forum here), the former is very much a social thing, most of my close friends play as well so we chat about games and so on a lot. Also you literally cannot play a tabletop game or an RPG by yourself, you need an opponent for the first one and a group for the second. The social aspect of those games is great, I've met a lot of new people through gaming and become good friends with them over the years.
Aside from the tabletop games/video games/comic reading trinity of coolness, I have 2 black belts, I do COMEDY and I really REALLY enjoy writing letters to various organizations to the point where they ask me to stop communicating with them
Sometimes it takes months
But now, being a responsible adult, my job tends to suck the life out of me more often than I would like - and as such I am not dedicating enough time to any of those things
Except video games
Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
I work out at the gym. Or at least I used to, and have been substituting it (barely) with a mountable pullup bar that can also be used for push-ups. Hopefully that is rectified at some point in the near future by getting in on my g/f's family's YMCA gym membership.
I play video games (big surprise, though nowhere near as often as during my obligation free childhood), read books (both print and now digital), and research many things online. I wish it weren't the case, but I fear playing music has progressively become just a hobby (not to insult those who are music enthusiasts during their free time) the past couple of years, whereas music used to be the other thing I did when I was not in school. If I ever get off my butt and seriously start recording samples/demos during free time and try to get a project started that may change, but for now it's just basement/bedroom practicing while dabbling in composing things.
I have started too many hobbies and never did much with any of them. I've started to learn guitar, make chiptunes and other electronic music, started to learn various languages (French, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Old English, and Quenya (elven lol)), knitting, gardening, pipe smoking, writing, drawing, painting, and board games.
The only two things I've ever stuck with have been video games and reading.
edit: forgot to add stargazing to that list. My poor telescope is collecting dust and I really want to use it but I'm so lazy
I have a few plants butI would like a terrarium but its expensive and I've got a mind to make one myself if I can find a bottle with a stopper in an antique shop.
I haven't indulged in my hobbies in a while. Once money stops being an issue and I stop being so terribly lazy I'll get back in to them.
I cycle, a lot, I have a beautiful Bianchi Cameleonte 3 Alu which cost me a small fortune in 2010. Not in the Bianchi colours though, just in all black.
I used to various martial arts, mostly Tae Kwon Do as that was the easiest to get into major competitions with but I also studied Jeet Kun Do and Gracie Jiu Jitsu to help make up on some of the parts where TKD is obviously lacking. My younger brother did Capoeira and my older brother did Wing Chun so we got to swap a lot of knowledge around, only my younger brother keeps it up, I'm too lazy and my older brother is too wrapped up in his kids.
I play guitar, I started out with bass a long ass time ago and still prefer it but it's easier to pick up the guitar and pick something out. Was in a disgustingly terrible metal band for a while, it didn't last : b
Other than that, I play video games a lot, like most hours I'm not doing anything else. I write, and build fantasy worlds because I'm always bursting with ideas for locations and events and histories and all that has to go somewhere.

Um, I collect pinup books. I own 4 right now. I follow a few pinup blogs. Cosmetics were a hobby of mine though recently I haven't been doing much with it. I've started sewing too. I'm still not that good but whatever, haters gonna hate.
I sometimes write fanfiction and then promptly delete it.
I bet in those few moments of its existence it is glorious.
I write things about characters taking pictures of their homes and drinking coffee when it gets cold. It isn't very exciting stuff hence I don't share it.

Ah, well unfortunately I don't have any of them left. I guess the next time I write about some characters eating assorted cookies or whatever I will share it.

It sounds cosy.
Yes, exactly. It makes me think of hobbits, all snug in their hobbit holes and eating second breakfast and having tea and relaxing in the sunshine.

Ah, I may as well post what I wrote for you.
As context: Some longwinded Tinychat joke about Og being a princess and hashing out the details of his royal life, so I wrote him the intro to a fictitious romance novel about Oghulk marrying a time traveling Sir Richard Branson. Oghulk was a princess. His name was Ogprincess. Sassori was his handmaid. The name he chose for his fictional kingdom was Pacha. Ogprincess has an arranged marriage but ends up with Branson and Sassori ends up marrying the prince and becomes a princess.
Morning crept across the fertile lands of the Pacha kingdom. From her bedroom window its princess could see the rolling hillsides that began from the palace leading into a wide stretch of coastline, and a narrow strip of blue ocean belting the panorama. Her gaze froze. A ship would be rising up the watery horizon that day, but unlike the myriad other ships that would port for trade and fishing, this one would be gilded and gleaming, and its arrival would change her life.
Ogprincess had known for years that she was to marry a particular prince from a certain, far-away land. The whole matter had been decided before her birth. He was but a shadowy concept for so many years. Prior it had been no difficulty to ignore the inevitability of her marriage but the past year had been a matter of preparing her for her future with her groom, she could only deny it so much. He was arriving today. And she was petrified. All Ogprincess wanted was to run wild and free, shooting arrows into the sunset. Her greatest ambition in life was to lift consecutively heavier and heavier things; as a queen she'd scarcely be allowed to lift so much as a finger. She did not want to marry and she did not want to be queen and she could see all her hopes and dreams dissolving just as her fears were falling into place. She wrapped herself more tightly in her sheets and continued to gaze out her window with a heavy pout.
A rap came at the door, “Milady?”
“ . . . Nuhhhh”
Ogprincess's handmaid, Sassori, let herself in, a parchment in her hand. She looked very cross, “You were supposed to awake an hour ago!”
“Nuhhhh”
“Today is such an important day! Don't you want to meet your prince?”
“NO,” the princess's first words of the day.
“Well good because he isn't here today.”
Ogprincess bolted upright, noting that Sassori's stern expression had given way to a teasing smile, hands on her hips. The princess stammered, “Wh-what!?”
Sassori tossed the parchment onto Ogprincess's bed, “There is a slight delay. They are however, sending his envoys to introduce you to the culture of your future home-country. That is a greeting from Sir Richard Branson, he has been organizing this meeting for months.”
Ogprincess finagled with the paper, thumbing it nervously, “What happened to the prince?”
“Illness hit his ship, everyone aboard is being held ashore until they recover.”
“So the plans for today, how have they changed?”
“You get to enjoy one last day as an unmarried princess. There will be food and festivities later tonight, nothing too fancy. And you will meet the envoys. Sir Richard Branson is supposed to be a hoot.”
Ogprincess wrinkled her nose, she didn't want to have anything to do with anything related to her marriage, “I bet he's old and stuffy. Why do I have to meet him?”
“He's supposed to be this eccentric kook, he should at least be mildly entertaining. I've heard more about Sir Richard Branson than the prince.”
“WHATEVER. Sass, bring me my protein shake”
“You wont get to lift as a queen, say goodbye to your gains.”
“I'll lift that snooty prince and throw him out the balcony, they cant marry me to a corpse.”
Sassori smirked, “If you do they might catch on that you're not actually a girl”
Ogprincess wilted, he had no idea how they were going to snooker their way through this marriage successfully. The royal family had been counting on the birth of a daughter to marry the prince-son of their neighboring kingdom. But an heir was produced instead and no children born after. And so, Prince Oghulk became Ogprincess, the truth known but to a select few. There were rumors of course but the princess was so beautiful and elegantly coiffed that 'her' unusual strength, musculature and hobbies could be dismissed as charming quirks.
I play music (drums, guitar, bass, singing) and juggle and tour on my bicycle and climb rocks and play tennis and golf and Magic and organize/broadcast local vidya game tournaments

Usually a page or two and then I throw it all away because it's not good enough.
