I never thought it "sucked", but yeah, once the plot twist hit things turned around for J'onn. I can save you the time though...
In a nutshell, the green martians J'onn was trying to help turned out to be white martians, who were brainwashed and manipulated into thinking they were indeed Green Martians. They attack J'onn, J'onn takes care of them all, save for the younger one. J'onn confronts Keane (homeland security) and evidence shows that Keane worked with another to capture the martians. J'onn then confronts the hunter, who turns out to be a real Green Martian, who wants to get back at J'onn for letting Ma'alefa'ak live, thus destroying the Martian population. They fight, J'onn wins. Keane arrested. J'onn and Supes make amends, and then J'onn takes the younger white martian to the JLA. Doors close..

    "Here, you must be hungry"

    "What are these?"

    "They're called choco's."

Moon Knight, Thunderbolts, AND New Avengers? Holy fuck, this might be the best Wednesday of 2007.

Also, buy this Moon Knight run before it gets cancelled and the character is locked away for another decade or two.

I wonder what stories are in Dream Corridor volume 2. Volume 1 was mostly a bunch that I didn't recognize.

Karma, did Martian Manhunter stop sucking so terribly? I quit around issue three or four.

So is the young white martian Miss Martian?
Oddly enough, no. The white martian was a male, named Till'all (or whatever.)

I'm kind of getting tired DC throwing in fill-in issues in the middle of a storyarc because the creators couldn't get the book done on time. I think I almost prefer delays as opposed to reading part of a storyline before being suddenly shunted onto something else and then brought back to the main plot again.

This pretty much explains why I dropped Wonder Woman.

Anyway, everything was pretty good today, even Blade. I dunno why people aren't reading Ant-Man though.

I can't decide if I should pick up the rest of Martian Manhunter. We quit around issue three too, and I just...I don't know.

We'll head to the shop tomorrow and pick up GLC, JLA: Classified and Ant-Man.

Yeah. Blade comes out on a regular schedule and has improved dramatically over the first 7 issues. Guggenheim stepped up his game quite a bit, and Chaykin's art became a good deal more tolerable. And there's no weird continuity gap because the creative team can't be bothered to get their shit out in anything resembling a decent amount of time.

Besides, I needed to start trimming my pull list in anticipation of World War Hulk and Annihilation: Conquest, and the DC titles are the first candidates for the cut.

    That twist in Martian Manhunter
That the innocent doctor lady, Sara, was an evil Green Martian all along had me groaning.

It'd be awesome if Ronin turned out to be Helmut.

    Actually, it's Danny Rand.

What? I hope this is some kind of joke.

Considering Iron Fist is on the bloody team, I'd say yes.

I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I just couldn't be sure.

It'd lead to some 80's style sitcom humor.

Ronin takes off his mask to reveal he's...Danny Rand, Iron Fist!
"If you're here, then that means...Oh boy!"

Iron Fist is really Captain America

I forgot about Buffy until I saw it next to the counter today, but at that point the cashier man was already ringing up Vampire Loves and Blankets and I didn't think I should spend more when Buffy will undoubtedly end up in a trade with extra materials anyway.

I'll probably read the comic before then, though.

That's a good plan Hooraydiation. I think I'll shamelessly copycat you.

Good lord, speaking of trades, how many trades can a man carry before severe back problems become an issue? Cause I have at least 12 I need, medically need mind you, to haul back home from the comic shop.

    Reign 4 was pretty fantastic.

Also, Geoff Johns is now alright in my book for solving the whole Cassandra debacle.

By the way, I saw Allred got to draw Fables this month and even made one of the characters look like dearly departed Vivisector.

I ought to pick that up next time I'm around.

Yeah... I was actually pretty surprised how much I missed Xander... go fig. The comic captured him pretty perfectly I thought.

Yes, someone less lazy than me needs to start a thread for the new Buffy series.
