Sony PS3 replacement earhook?

So my wonderful dog ate my PS3 bluetooth earhook (and the docking station, the headset is fine though). Leaving out comments that i am dumb for paying $50 for the official PS3 headset (i realize this... now), do any brick and mortar stores sell replacement earhooks for the older model (or any model, i might be able to find something that works in a store)? There is a new one out, but i don't know if the hooks are compatible, they don't appear to be the same.
i've looked online but none list the PS3 headset as a compatible unit. i don't want to buy a bunch of earhooks that end up not fitting.
Also, it doesn't work without the earhook, it just falls out of my ear.
