iTunes crashing almost immediately after being launched [solved].
This is the Windows version of it. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, the installation is 32-bit, but I'm not sure if that's relevant. The error message I get is this:
Any ideas? I tried restarting the computer, that didn't help. It was working fine last night.

Did you already try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes? Here's Apple's article on that subject. My usual order of operations when something refuses to open at all is 1) reinstall program (without uninstalling first, but making sure I've closed everything related to it in Task Manager first), 2) uninstall program and reinstall it, 3) uninstall, restart my computer, and reinstall program, 4) start googling around to see if there's a widespread problem.
Using the 32-bit version won't cause any problems, but there is in fact a 64-bit version of iTunes, so you might want to grab that when you reinstall (actually, when I just went to look up the download page, it automatically detected that I was running 64-bit Windows anyway, so that should be easy). The 64-bit version may run better than the 32-bit version since it can use more of your resources. Plus, since it's not EXACTLY the same program as before, it's less likely that it will still refuse to open because then something has changed.
