So yea, my debugger still ain't doing shit for me. New projects, old projects. Whatever settings it is apply to my files, fuck me royally, since I can't even debug on machines at school.

Anyone wanna let me send you my .cpp file (if you are using VC++) so you can figure out what settings are all jacked?

The cpp files have nothing to do with the debugging settings. How about you tell us what your problem is?

    See http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=16028 first.

In a nutshell, whenever I try to debug something, VC++ tells me theres no Symbol Table loaded and that source code cannot be displayed, then asks if I want to view the disassembly. I've tried this on half a dozen machines, most of which works for everyone else to debug, and still have the same problem.

1)Yes, I am using "Debug" as opposed to "Start without debugging"
2)I have made the settings changes suggested by eecc, which made me change optomizations settings, but still did not work

    Any ideas?

what was the solution? May as well link to the MSDN article in case somebody else has the same problem and does a search through here.
