It's very 80s, but I always enjoyed Parenthood with Steve Martin and Mary Steenburgen. Lots of good actors/actresses in that one, including a very young Joaquin Phoenix.
Actually I'm not sure "it's very 80s" is necessarily accurate. It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I don't think it's that outdated other than that one character watches VHS tapes at some point.
Bye Bye Love (Paul Reiser, Matt Modine, Randy Quaid) was pretty good. A mixture of relationship stuff and parental stuff.

One just came out called "Friends With Kids" which I found pretty damn charming and funny. It stars Adam Scott (from Parks & Rec) and Jennifer Westfeldt (also the writer/director), with Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph. Had some romcom cliches, but also a surprisingly honest look at how relationships and friendships work and how having kids can affect them.
It's a no go if you hate Zach Braff, but The Last Kiss covers infidelity in your own relationship, while also dealing with your parents dissolving marriage and the effect it has on you relating to them.
I didn't even know what the fuck and avitar was until about 5 minutes ago.

I was just thinking about this film, actually.
I am a huge Zach Braff fan, but I thought The Last Kiss was god-awful, personally. Though I guess there's value in the film anyway. I think it's a remake, too, isn't it?
Second 500 Days of Summer, though it's not about parenthood at all.
Wow... how can you mention Zach Braff and not mention Garden State? It's like ONLY about relationships and parent issues.

'Fuck yeah, me too. What little kid ever pretended to be part of the lynch-mob?'

I came in to post exactly this, the movie is pretty good but the soundtrack is amazing, and it covers both topics well. The Proposal covers both topics too.
Horse Feathers, which has a man competing with his son for the affection of one of the son's classmates. Also, his son is also his brother. It's about football!
While I didn't particularly enjoy You Can't Take It With You, it has all the thing's you're looking for.
Fiddler on the Roof is, of course, mandatory, and The Dybbuk is strongly recommended.
btw, among the movies mentioned, gotta say that "500 days of summer" was great, i mean about the relation issues, it had lots to say
as u know, nowadays, young people face lots of problems in their relationship and wot i need are these types of movies, the ones which focus on problems, rather than a really romantic one which kinda seems fake for this generation
If you're up for a Japanese movie, I really love Departures. It deals with coming terms with an absentee father and death, and also the tension that can occur in a relationship when life goals don't line up. Also the score is by Joe Hisaishi, so that's a bonus,

There's also Confessions (what if your kid's nuts) and Nobody Knows (kids left to their own devices, there's a romance subplot). I suppose Uzumaki could also be considered to contain parent-child and romantic relationships, but that movie's eight kinds of crazy.

Yup, American-remake of an Italian film: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L'ultimo_bacio
I haven't seen the Zach Braff version, the original is pretty good though.
In addition, Dan in Real Life was quite good, and dealt with relationship/family issues.
Eat Drink Man Woman
Bridge to Terabithia?
The Family Stone, great cast hands down, deals with adult children and the reletionships between each as well as the parents coping with it all.
