Samsung T27A300 Monitor and my lovely little xbox 360

So i just bought a Samsung T27A300 monitor for very, very little . Intending to use it as my main monitor for my xbox. But there seems to be some problems regarding audio out and stuff. Any ideas if the sound really is bad or anything? My old monitor is a 21 inch philips monitor with an audio out conected to my 2.1 speaker system...The samsung monitor will be arriving in a couple of days..
