It's likely this has been brought up before, but with the recent activity around lookouts it struck me:
Has anyone considered making a real life Lookouts organization for kids? It would be a gamer/fantasy alternative to boyscouts, with out door activities, badges, quests, basically structured larping with life lessons.
Thoughts?

Will it involve learning how to start fires and owning pen-knifes?
Because that's what attracted me to the scouts. The Air Cadets won me over with the offer of flying and shooting, but the attraction wore off when I had to be respectful to people based on how long they'd been there as opposed to how intelligent they were.
