Years ago my friend made me a drink with vodka, sprite, lime juice, and grenadine. He always called it a red apple but I'm pretty sure this is wrong because it doesn't contain or taste like apples, and when I search "red apple" I get a totally different recipe. Now I'm working at a restaurant where I get to set the drink specials. I want to make this drink, so help me internet. What is it called? If it's not already a thing, what should it be called?

It's a kind of incredibly trashy vodka collins with some grenadine mixed in. It's nothing really. Just something a teenager would make when they don't want to taste the booze. Google "vodka sprite grenadine" and you'll find hundreds of variations.

I never said it was fancy, but yes I was aware this drink pretty much screams "card me". And I will. But there's a lot of 19 year olds around this area who want to order something but not have it taste too alcohol-y. When I was them, this was what I liked.

Only you use 7-up instead of sprite.
2 Oz Vodka
5 Oz 7-up
Spash of Grenadine
1 Oz Lime juice
I always do them over ice in a Collins but most people would use a highball.
Thank you, this is it exactly. I knew H/A wouldn't let me down!
