I'll also add my other favorite video game band, Game Over. Their songs aren't straight covers (though they borrow heavily from the games) and include vocals revolving around the idea of the hero losing.

Yeah I go to them all the time. I look at their album list a lot.

I wouldn't say The Black Mages really cover FF songs since the guy who composed all the original music is in the band, but I guess that's semantics.
