YouTube Ad Hijack/Malware?

I've had this annoying ad/search bar overlay pop up whenever I use YouTube. It halts my videos until I click at it.

The only thing I found through Google is one guy who had the exact same issue: http://forums.techguy.org/virus-other-malware-removal/1065707-youtube-ad-hijacker.html

Of course, he doesn't mention at all how he fixed it other than removing some "special bar". I'm on Firefox and I don't see any unwanted search bars/extensions in my list, so I'm hoping someone here can help me get rid of this crap.

On the subject, I've been trying to find a plugin that will automatically play YouTube videos at the highest possible setting available. I've tried a few user scripts but they only go up to 720p instead of 1080p. Suggestions would be welcome.

Managed to find it. It was an extension named "Download SA". Removing that shit fixed the ad problem.

Still trying to find a way to make YouTube automatically play 1080p. So far no Greasemonkey scripts are doing the job.

Well, it certainly works, and I know people swear up and down about Chrome, but I just haven't been able to replicate the interface extensions I've grown accustomed to with Firefox.

Specifically, the taskbar search (the one that lets you add whatever website you want to search from): I can't seem to find a way to have it displayed right next to the address bar like I do with Firefox. The closest thing I could find is the "All Search" extension, which still requires a double-click to open and search.

Also, I have to view PA with it's non-good white layout while on Chrome.

Also if you're trying to search wikipedia and youtube you just type "youtube.com" then press tab and it'll switch it to a search on Youtube
