Travelling from Sweden to Norway

I'm currently travelling around Sweden via train, steadily making my way northwards. I have a rail pass that also allows me travel in Norway, so I'm keen to get there. However, my final destination is Kiruna in Sweden and I'm absolutely stumped on how to get to Norway from there. I can apparently get to Narvik from Kiruna but then there doesn't seem to be any way to head south from there. It really is a puzzle to me.

The best way to continue on seems to be getting to Bodo, but it's the same thing, I can't see ANY way to get there from Sweden without going all the way to the south and back up. Has anyone done this before or could show me a way to get between these places, preferably via rail?

Norway has no railroads north of Bodø, you'll have to fly (or go by bus, if there are any). The Kiruna-Narvik stretch is operated by the Swedish railroad company, and no, there likely are no trains crossing the border except in the south.

So if you're in Sweden, you'll want to keep going north by whatever means you have to get to Kiruna. Crossing over won't help you in any way I know of.

After checking around, I've found a bus from Narvik to Bodo. Now it is just a matter of figuring out what see on my way down Copenhagen. Any suggestions appreciated but as far as the question goes, guess this is solved.

From Bodø you're so close to Lofoten it would be a shame not to go. Hop on the ferry for a few hours and be amazed by everything. Then again, out there a train ticket is useless and it's gonna be cold and expensive - even for Norway.

Western Norway has some of the best looking fjords on Earth. Trains wont take you all the way there, though.

Even the train ride from Bodø to Oslo takes you through some pretty spectacular scenery.

    Fuck off and die.
