I have to wonder if something is wrong with thier WiiU. The Arkham City port had some really bad framerate right? Joystiq gave it a pretty high score though, didn't seem to mention framerate issues. (although I seriously glanced through the review itself at work.)

Yeah, I'm getting the neXtboX and PS4 before I even consider the WiiU. This was a joke.

That said, I'm waiting until after launch for both because there has yet to be a console launch I have enjoyed, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. And I'm probably buying a PS3 before I buy any next-next-gen consoles. I have a lengthy backlog to catch up to.

The only reason I have a 360 is due to their shoddy hardware, and having a friend that did repairs of them for a bunch of people.

But I guess some people couldn't stand not having one for a few weeks so they just bought new ones instead of waiting on the repairs.

So he had like 6 working ones and just threw one my way.

I'm not betting that either Microsoft or Sony will fuck up their next console. What they need to be careful with is pricing, because people ain't any richer than when they raised holy hell against 599 US dollars.

i really don't think that sort of situation is what we have to worry about

if anything, i think the one thing we can count on for the next xbox and playstation is that their primary control mechanism will be a 360 controller (or minor upgrade) and another dumb dual shock

not really comparable to the wiimote being the default way to control the wii
