So anyone Far Cry 3 comes out next Tuesday in the US and is already out in Europe and Australia. It looks really good and has been getting great reviews so I'm really looking forward to it.

Rockpapershotgun liked it pretty well and they're usually reasonably reliable as games journalists go

I'm holding off regardless because A. Farcry 2 was pretty lame and B. My PC probably won't run this and C. it sounded like the PC version might not be ultra-stable

Really my biggest worry for this game is how buggy it is on release. RPS gave me a lot of good info on gameplay, but they're on PC and I'm on PS3. So the technical/playability side is a mystery to me.

Edit: I do not know if it is buggy or not, and if so how much. That is my worry.

Jeff Gerstmann of Giant Bomb was talking in the Far Cry 3 quicklook about how the protagonist and his friends are all super awful and deserve to be sold into slavery and/or killed.

Which is more than just a bit much considering just the intro, but he's played 4 or 5 more hours into the game so maybe they get extra awful I dunno.
