[Xbox Tournament Games] Suggestions please - System Link preferred-ish

I would really appreciate suggestions for fun, easy to pick up Xbox 360 games that don't require access to an XLSP or season pass (i.e. system link play, or can just matchmake simply over LIVE). Games good for tournament elimination would be great. Also, puzzle games good for tournament elimination would be great. Kinect is ok!

I emphasize "easy to pick up" in that there are games out there where people who are great gamers would have no chance at winning against anyone who's played that game before (i.e. most fighting games and shooters).

For Example: Bomberman, Lumines LIVE, Katamari, Raving Rabbids Kinect (were examples of games we have used in the past)

We've been thinking about You don't know Jack, @Nocren. I'm pretty sure we've used Puzzle Fighter in the past. It gets harder as we go along as we don't want to duplicate! : (

I've been using the above list, which is AWESOME, but it's hard to find good youtubes of a lot of these games in multiplayer (mostly it's reviewers, and they don't get to do multiplayer when they get a game before release).

Man I wish Assassin's Creed didn't need access to Ubisoft's servers... Anybody know if any of them support system link? Doubt it; they're so into their Uplay thing.

(I dont know if all kickstarter links are banned even if the poster has absolutely no affiliation with it?) Joust would be right up your alley and I hear its awesome to play.

You could probably bend Super Meat Boy into a tournament, but I dont remember if it has an on screen death count or other point measuring system. Super meat boy is HARD but its not complicated, mechanics wise.
