I'm pretty sure her innocent schoolgirl act isn't really an act and she is really just that naive and ignorant because seriously how do you not know the ending to romeo and juliet that is not a good idea for a love song
I dunno, all the best love stories are at least part tragedies. I mean Romeo and Juliet am not end on a high note, but that doesn't stop people from awing themselves into a hernia over he whole thing.

Romeo first appears in the play in the first scene, shortly after the brawl between the Montagues and the Capulets. As a young man (age of 22), he is rash and quite easily distempered.
One aspect of the story which now seems problematic is Juliet's age. As the story occurs, Juliet is approaching her fourteenth birthday. She was born on "Lammas Eve at night" (August 1), so Juliet's birthday is July 31 (1.3.19). Her birthday is "a fortnight hence", putting the action of the play in mid-July (1.3.17).
