Homestuck Fans at PAX?

Hello, everyone. This will be my second PAX. You might have seen me cosplaying Ayane from DOA last year, or maybe not.

My curiosity is this: will there be any Homestuck fans at PAX East this year? If so, would you all like to arrange a meet-up? Are you all going to cosplay your favorite troll, alpha kid, beta kid, or other character?

To be honest, I wasn't sure if this was okay to post here, since it is, in a way, endorsement of someone else's comic... If it's not okay, feel free to inform me and i will promptly delete this post.

Hello! There was a meet up Saturday night outside the Handheld Lounge last year and there will probably be one again.
The past two years, I organized a meet up in Cambridge, MA, the Thursday before East at this lovely location, but last year only about six people came. If more people are interested, perhaps we could do another one for 2013?

Anyway, both of these were organized in the PAX East thread of the MSPA forums, so I'd keep a lookout there too!

East 2011 saw the MSPA meetup converge on the /dance party near the PC freeplay. I'd love it if that happened again.

Let's see if we can get something going, then! I haven't seen any group meetings on MSPA forums, but I'll double check before I start anything.

My husband and I will be there, but most likely not cosplaying as homestucks. Maybe if I get done these costumes before this other con we are going to this month we can have something ready/easy to wear in case there is a meetup.

I usually spend all of pax with my boyfriend because of how little I get to see him, so I'm not sure if I can do any meet ups, but I will be there all 3 days and I plan on cosplaying Nepeta! So if anybody sees me please feel free to say hi! It'll be my first homestuck cosplay and I'm really excited to make friends!

Now that the schedule has been released, how would you all feel about a meet up Saturday, March 23rd by the Handheld Lounge at 6:00p? That's where we planned it last year, and I'm almost positive it was there in 2011 also. I think the exhibit hall closes at six.

Andrew Hussie should show up to one of the PAX events sometime. It would be cool to get a little background info on his comics and his recent (HUGE) success with Kickstarting his Homestuck game a couple months back.

I think it would be an interesting panel at least. xD

I will be there on Sunday! I won't be in Homestuck gear though, but if you keep an eye out for a Companion cube wielding a portal gun be sure to say hi. I'll keep my eye out for a god tier Dave~

I'm actually going to a Homestuck meet on Saturday up in Portland. XD I cosplay Meulin.

I'll be human Tavros (horns don't travel easily...) on Friday and the Trickster Jane Saturday (maybe Sunday too).
