Cold as ice?
I'm playing inFamous 2 and the nice lady is now an ice lady
Also I'm reading lots of "DON'T COMPLETE ALL THE SIDE MISSIONS!" warnings on GFAQs and such with no justifications. I'm feeling like I should complete all the side missions outta spite.
I wish. I'd be making so much more money. I haven't looked at the local's contract but I'd have to imagine it starts at what I'm making (probably more) plus a pension plus health benefits plus union2stronkcrushpunycaptialism.
But in reality I don't know that I could ever be in the UAW seriously because all BA's (essentially elected dudes that are supposed to represent the regular workers) are assholes. Most stewards are assholes. And most of the body of the union is retarded.
I should rewatch that film. The first time I saw it I think I was about 12 years old, and I thought it was super boring.
It is super boring, because the length is padded by big long "look at all the work we put into these effects" shots.
Which is fine, because they sure are purty, but on a story level you don't need thirty minutes of Scotty and Kirk driving around outside the Enterprise trying to get their hands on her ample nacelles, if you pardon the engineering parlance.

There are V'Gers in Star Trek Online!
They're the Borg super capital ship. Which is in line with the suggestion in several of the old novels that the Borg were who rebuilt V'Ger.
I fought one for the first time last night, during a sector-wide invasion event. I saw a dude in a movie-era Constitution cruiser charge it. It fired a huge sphere of energy, just like the movie, and when that slow-moving ball hit the guy's ship, there was no explosion, he glowed and then faded from existence, just like the movie. It was hilarious.

I fought one last night. We couldn't do enough damage to kill it. I mean we went through Borg cubes like butter but that think curbstomped us. Admittedly my primary role was to try to tie up probes so the bigger guns could hammer it but man that was annoying. I mean the moment we saw a regen probe, we nuked it but just not enough firepower.

Yeah, the V'Gers require a decent amount of cooperation that you just usually don't find in a pug.

Also, Planetside 2 is starting to bug me with everything being based around zerging, chokepoints, and either dying a ton until you get certs or paying cash.

On a script level the film is pretty tight.
Thanks I was running out of stuff to look at on reddit

The Onion has the best political cartoons.
He should have broadcast via radio.
Goddamn I am sick of my light cruiser.
where is the statue of liberty?
She wasn't built when Jesus was born.
Disagree
Although I still have not gone back on STO to remake my person because I've found other things to distract me recently
