Need Help with a Corrupt? Word 2010 Template

I created a form template. It seems to work. When I email it to folks it crashes.
Damn IT at my job is taking days to show up and attempt to fix this.

That's a bit odd. But there are ways to get around this. What I typically do with a corrupted template is save it in an older format and re-import it in another Word session. Try the 2003 format for starters.
