I'm a tad confused and want to be extra safe.
We buy Ol'Roy canned food and Iams puppy products and both brands, I think, have been recalled. Is the recall for wet canned food or dry food or both. I'm not finding any specific list on what's been recalled.

tl;dr

What can I safely feed my dogs?

I did a quick search and found this: http://www.menufoods.com/recall/ via http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/12/22/dog.deaths/. Hopefully that's the information you need.

EDIT/addendum: Yup, that should be it. First link -> Product Information: Recalled Dog Product Information -> Ol'Roy US

Maybe that can lead you in the right direction. I just got finished searching through my animal's food.

And another link for good measure.

What I find funny is my dog (5 year old Pitbull) will only eat Beniful which is actually pretty good dog food. I had so many people try to get me to Iams as it was "so much better". This isn't the time for I told you so's ...but yeah.

P.S. Why do you choose Ol Roy? I bought it once since I was broke and ran out of food for her and it was really cheap. I got it home opened the bag took one look and cut my losses and made her 3 large minute steaks instead.

I don't know about specific wet food brands, but from everything I've seen, no dry dog foods have been affected by the recall. Stick with dry food until all this blows over and you should be safe.

It's the only wet food that our male dog likes. We actually mix it with dry Kibbles 'n Bits.
Kibbles 'n bits isn't on the list, thankfully. So, that's what they'll both be eating from now on.

    Thanks
