I want to sell my DVDs

I got a PS3 a couple of years ago and I have Netflix and Amazon prime as streaming services. With these three things combined, I haven't put in a DVD in ages. I was somewhat of a collector back in the day, so I have around 400 of them. I would probably want to sell around 300-350 of them. This is too much to do piece meal via Ebay or Craiglist, so I was thinking of just trading them in to a New Bury Comics or something. (I'm in the Boston area).

Is there a better alternative? Will the Newbury employees kill themselves when they realize they need to check and scan 350 DVDs? Should I call first? Come in at opening? Or closing? I just don't know the best way to bulk, offload all these DVDs and still get a few bucks for them? I'm not looking for a ton of cash, even if it averaged out to $3 a DVD I'd be happy.

Catalog them and give them a buzz. Even better if you can mark their price via amazon for used goods and offer to take 5-25% of it or something.

Ah good call. Maybe I can email them an excel spread sheet and they can have all their ducks in a row.

You'll want to catalogue them, yeah. Find Criterion collection stuff, anything that might be out of print/rare, series boxsets and whatnot, stuff that'll be worth selling individually.

Then figure out what's new enough to have a certain value,

Then bulk the majority (you can try selling everything individually, but it'll be a hassle, and with much of it probably not worth it, timewise) - maybe call in first to whereever you want to take them, yeah.

Yeah definitely. You're probably going to get like $2 a DVD though. Keep that in mind. Definitely do as @grislo says and find your high sellers and ebay those.
