Tablet question

This is probably a dumb question so apologies in advance. My wife's considering picking up the Nook HD+ but we've noticed that it doesn't look like there's a dedicated Facebook or Netflix app for it. You can still access those on the web browser, yes? No?

    Facebook, yeah. Netflix no, since the browser version uses Microsoft's Silverlight, which isn't available on Android. Just looking around though, it looks like there is a Netflix app available for it anyway.

    Well it's not just android, because I don't think the nook can get to the main google play store. So it would have to have it within the nook app store (which it does).

    Thanks! Their app store is a nightmare and I couldn't find it but it's bookmarked now!
