A fixture of California public television, Huell traveled across the state interviewing people and generally being enthusiastic about the entirety of God's Creation
He was born in Tennessee and in many ways he was the ultimate Tourist
Never flagging in his love of every minutia of the state's history and local flavor

Oh man. This was a staple of public broadcasting on a lot of the Cali stations where I grew up. I especially loved when he was visiting a place I was familiar with. Dude was ecstatic about anything, genuinely appreciated what a lot of people take for granted.
