Tomb Raider Anniversary

If I were interested in playing Tomb Raider anniversary, would I be better served playing it on the PSP or Wii?

I don't know anything about the PSP version but I enjoyed the Wii version. Actually looks pretty good for the system. It has some exclusive stuff but nothing really meaty. A lot of people would probably consider it waggle BS busywork these days, things like making rubbings of engravings or using the remote as a flashlight. The kind of stuff people complained about in Uncharted Vita. :P Still it's a fine port of a good game.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is dumb, and stupid, and you should get the original Tomb Raider from the PSN for your PSP instead.

Alternate answer - I'd get it on the PSP, I've never been much of a fan of wagglan. If you've got a PS2, PS3, or a PC though, the environments do look a lot nicer on a monitor or TV screen.

No PC, PS2, or PS3, but I do have PSP Go + Dualshock 3 combo that I play on my TV with.

But if I'm gonna go through all of that I may as well spring for the Wii version. Hmm.

Oh jeez a new copy is like $80. I might reopen a Gamefly subscription to rent it.

What did you not enjoy about Anniversary?

I would just go with the Wii version. Though be warned that it has tacked on motion control.

If you do go with the Wii version, it's $15 used at Gamestop

Yeah, I saw that. I may have to get over my hated of Gamestop just this once.

I could have sworn I've seen it kicking around a bargain bin somewhere though, but maybe my brain is just playing tricks on me.

If it was, it was probably a while ago. It's out of print, so that's probably why it's so hard to find and expensive.

I will say that it's a great game, as long as you can get used to the controls.
