I've recently organized my apartment. Everything has a place where it belongs,
except the stuff I carry on my person when I'm outside the apartment: my keys, my wallet, my watch and my phone (when it's not charging).
Where do people normally put these things? Just on top of some random drawers? My apartment is tiiiiiny, so I have zero available surface area. Currently, these items end up on my bed, and then when I need the bed, they move to the floor.
There has to exist some product on Amazon that one can easily mount on a wall for these sorts of items. I can't find it. I'm essentially thinking of a very, very small wall-mounted shelf (tray?) that's inclined at the edges so that nothing falls off. Nothing larger than 6" x 6" x 6".
This seems like a product that has to exist, but I can't describe it well enough to find it. Searching "small shelves" on Amazon hasn't been helpful. I could make what I have in mind myself, but I really don't want to spend more than 30 minutes on this idea. And I've already taken 7 minutes to write this post! There's not much time left!

or just a small shelf that's a little fancy (i.e. has a magnet for keys):

The last two seem like the best bet from how you've described your needs. Hope these help.
Think about where you need them and when and make a routine out of it. If you expect phone calls when you are sleeping or rely on your phone as an alarm then make the place for your phone near your bed next to an outlet and keep it there when not in pocket.
At home you don't need to be carrying around a wallet or a set of keys (9 times out of a ten a watch as well) so set a designated place where you always set these items.
I put all of my pocket goodies in my "junk drawer" and they never get lost because they are always in the bottom right corner and it's routine by now. My junk drawer could be your sock drawer as long as it's always consistent and you build a routine around it.
Aside from that... Do you have the skills to build your own little shelf?
