see, thing is, i watched season 4 with @bombardier when it aired because why not
but i didn't understand any of it
so the only thing i REALLY remember from it is

And I think the Chief is my favorite character at this point. I wish he was in more episodes.
I wasn't sure what watching it through a second time would be like, but it's still really great. Even if just for this:
the ending is not the problem
it's that half of season 3 and all of season 4 are fucking dogshit
the writers decided that making a loose war in afganistan war allegory and then pulling some m night shamlyalmadingdong bullshit would make for good watching
