[D&D 4E PbP] Police Cops: An Eberron Setting (OOC)
Unofficial campaign name for an unofficial group, if I say so myself. Alright
@Melding,
@Antimatter,
@Huntera,
@Dichotomy,
@interrobang,
@Solar, this is where we'll be conducting business outside of the game. This means character sheets, discussions on the setting, etc. For those unfamiliar with pbps here, we'll be using either
Invisible Castle or
Orokos for dice rolls and
Orokos or
Myth-Weavers for character sheets. Once I have a campaign setting ready to post I'll also go more in-depth into how we'll format posts in the IC thread, just to keep things easy to read and skim over.
For now though, chat about characters, backgrounds, and whatnot. If anyone requires help I'm on-hand whenever needed and I believe everyone's more than happy to help each other out. Bookmark this thread, and the coming IC one, at your own discretion but keep in mind we'll be frequently using the "@" system to make it easier to keep track of everything.

now to write up some background
watch this space!
So, so far known party members are: Minotaur Monk, doppelganger ????, and then 4 blanks.
i'm torn between a Bladesinger or some type of striker

Feld: Doppleganger Detective
Feld is new to the force, but he's demonstrated an incredible ability to notice things around him. Between the fact that he can infiltrate criminal rings without being noticed and that he can notice everything around him, he's a dangerous foe to evildoers. He's in possession of other strange talents, and while he can attack from afar he's adept up close and personal with a short sword. He possesses a standard issue set of light armor and a shield.
bladesingers are controllers!!

no, they aren't.
Like, yeah it says they're controllers, but i was out damaging a monk and a ranger. often combined.
also they control for shit.
Love the class, terrible controller.
4e is like a video game humor
the fun trick with dragonborn battlemind is you can typically keep your bloodied value and your surge value hilariously close.
I know everyone was tense over my indecision (hello everyone who has this thread bookmarked)
is there anything that's specifically verboten
and i assume we're all starting at level 1?
tumblr | instagram | twitter | steam
well of course, I say, preening, but at the same time it was a bit of a stretch with the campaign you've envisioned and considering I just got into 4e the monk feels a bit too wacky, I'm in over my head with it
so the minotaur monk goes back in the toybox for a later campaign

Was this ever not what was going to happen?
naive and unerringly by the book and systematically broken by the inherent violence of the profession
tumblr | instagram | twitter | steam
it's real good though
Here's to hoping I am not the only leader.
I didn't make this
where'd that come from

and then they spent like about ten times the effort i was expecting.
