So Subway is being sued because some Australian posted a pic that showed his "footlong" Subway sub was actually only 11 inches long.

Subways response is that Footlong is not necessarily indicative of length and that it is meant to be an average with some subs being a little shorter.

Personally...this seems really fucking stupid. The sandwich in that pic looks like it was squished. I don't expect my footlong to be EXACTLY 12 inches long every single time I order one. Maybe some of them are shorter, maybe some of them are longer...who the hell knows? I've never bothered to measure my sub.

Subway is bullshit

I do actually like Jimmy John's though, simply because they're faster and always get my order right (whereas at Subway I often found I had to go slowly as they're making that sandwich or they'd get something wrong), and most importantly for me they do any sandwich as a lettuce wrap which is great being diabetic.
