The XBOX is dead and it was a fun system to have. I noticed, though, that I still have 50,000+ blocks available on the XBOX HDD. That didn't make much sense. I counted up the blocks of my saved games and the total came out to be something over 14 thousand used. Another 20 thousand for music. So even with all those blocks used, I haven't made a dent in the blocks available ... unless the counter is broken. Has anyone ever been able to 'fill' their XBOX with a hard drive from the factory with content of any kind?
Notice the plus, dude. See, the plus? That means MORE than 50,000 blocks available.
It's not a my-computer-esque your-hard-drive-is-this-big capacity figure. It's meant to be a warning of you being low on space.
Capacity wise, the 5GB of usable space on an Xbox equals about 312,000 blocks. So if you've only used 14,000.... do you still have 50,000+ blocks left? of course.
That's all it means. Once you've used up 262,000 blocks, and only then, will the number will start to decrease.

You have a long way to go.
edit: FYI, a block = 16kb.
