God fucking damn just got all five seasons on DVD and this is the shit.

The characters are amazing and the whole premise, of alternate realities but conveniently with a restricted time limit on each one makes the show work so well.

Plus, the black guy calls every white person he meets 'cueball' in what is just part of pretty flagrant racism throughout every episode.

Quinn Mallory. The fucking name is awesome.

Rembrant Brown. Goddam everything about this series rocked so hard.

Anyone else like it as much as I? I cant stop watching it, partly out of nostalgia and partly out of sheer unmitigated awesomeness.

    Sliders just seemed to rip off lots old sci-fi stories. I swear they had a Morlock/Eloi episode. I wasn't crazy about it.

    the show really started to break down when they got into the dimensional war thing. just like how x-files started to suck when they actually started to progress a real story.

    I love shows where a group of people go from one bizarre thing to the next. my latest favourite is Supernatural

    Man, that's what goes through my head every time my wife talks about it, and I always want to laugh but she's so serious about it and I'd feel bad. She's in her PhD program for psychology so she talks about this stuff all the time. I'm learning way more about it than I care to.
