The concept art and the footage description is giving me a real Farscape vibe for GotG. That seems entirely appropriate. Cosmic Marvel should always be a little bit bonkers.
Though Ultron before Ant-man does seem odd. I wonder if it's possible that Ultron will actually be tied to Thanos or the Kree. It could be revealed at the very end to be a sentient virus with the sole purpose of exterminating a planet or something along those lines, or maybe even a rogue Kree AI that escapes to Earth and hopes to use it as a staging ground for universal conquest. Divorcing Ultron from Hank Pym would disappoint me on some level but I'm willing to forgive them if them if Whedon is able to come up with something sufficiently interesting or clever.
My concern is that Ultron as the villain could result in a fuckton of disaster porn and body count.
The Battle of New York showed Whedon can handle massive destruction without making it disaster porn. But It's inevitable that Ultron is going to have a large bodycount - the dude isn't interested in conquering humanity it wants to destroy us.
I was reading some interesting speculation that they'll just make Ultron Tony's mistake rather than Hank's.
Jarvis is already a ridiculously advanced AI. The suits could function pretty well autonomously in IM3.
I would not be down for that. I don't mind if Jarvis is involved in some way but I don't really care for making it Tony's fault. I feel like there's going to have to be some sort of cosmic element involved in Ultron's origin too.

He goes to this after-life style void, and his parents are there, and his father's all 'Bruce... don't be afraid.' Then in the real world he's all 'flesh wounds!' and gets back up. It's an 'all a dream or was it?' moment.

I'm guessing Age of Ultron will introduce Hank Pym as a scientist extrodinair, with all sorts of tech like a shrinking suit, insect control and Ultron. He might even join the fight a bit, but decide not to be a superhero after that.
We know Ant-Man is going to be about Scott Lang, so with Hank Pym established in Age of Ultron, it'll make a bit more sense when Lang steals his suit.
Damn, I had a reply to something when I started catching up on this thread, but have now forgotten it!
Why you guys and gals gotta jump 90 posts while I'm at work! :P
edit: Oh I remembered one of them, Helicarriers crashing aren't near as tradition as Quinjets crashing, we need some Quinjets crashing in the Savage Land asap!
Also Ultron could feasably have a high body count and nobody can complain
since the most critically acclaimed, beloved and best Ultron story of all time had him entirely wiping out the population of a small country
Ultron is that scary
To heck with one country. In Annihilation: Conquest Ultron led the Phalanx to destroy most of the Kree Empire. Which, of course, gives another possible Non-Hank origin for Ultron in Avengers 2. Have Ultron as an AI background character in Guardians of the Galaxy (much like Jarvis in Iron Man) and then show Ultron escaping and arriving on Earth in the post movie sneak peak.

nah, he needs to originate on earth to set up Hank Pym as the person Scott Lang steals the Ant-Man tech from.
also because "Hank Pym accidentally created mankind's greatest enemy" is too good to pass up.
He didn't in the recent Avengers toon and it didn't seem to take away much from the character. He can be the android struggling with humanity without having human remnants in his robot brain.
Its going to be interesting to see how Joss Whedon handles this. If he can pull off the hat trick, I will be quite impressed. Expectations for Avengers 2 are going to be astronomical.

Well then they'll have to call someone to avenge all those innocents lost, now wont they?

Anyway, they're reporting that the original Suicide Squad will appear this season. Michael Jai White will play Bronze Tiger, and that's just swell.

I don't really think that's why. Wright has always wanted his movie to be about Lang
At least we're getting a movie to set up Pym and give him a big enough mistake to want to give up the mantle
He's being introduced in Age of Ultron instead of someone else's movie
You're wrong! Batman and Robin will never die.
Why I fear the ocean.

Altho who's the brain imprint going to be, will he even get one without Simon Williams?

Our first look at the villain Kurse in Thor 2.
And Thanos confirmed for GotG by IGN and Kevin Feige.
Probably low level prison guards, given the the footage descriptions.
Whedon says no Pym in Avengers 2, they're doing their own take on Ultrons origin. Hawkeye is confirmed to be back.
