A 2gb patch on the xbox basically means I probably won't get to play this online again, at least not for a very long time. I tend to only load it up when I've got some free time to actually play the game, not sit and wait a few hours for a patch the size of another game to download. It's even worse if there's other compatibility patches as well (don't know if there are for the previous DLC releases?). So yeah, I'm unhappy.
I understand what you guys are saying, however the amount of amor rape I've seen in BF3 is pretty much the same in BC2.
I feel like in BC2, this happens when everyone is playing as a sniper and refuses to join a squad, whereas in BF3 it happens when you're on a squad full of engineers who don't know where the D-pad is.
I learned today that when you're on foot behind two friendly tanks, never assume either of them will so much as fire at the enemy tank directly in front of them in plain view. Instead, assuming they will both drive around randomly, get stuck on terrain, both get destroyed by the enemy tank, and that you will be on your own.
I wish console Battlefield games had at least 32 players. I'd gladly sacrifice some blue tint and floating-point lighting to get that.

Ugh, yeah, I thought they wised up and made it only one download, but I went into the DLC section in Origin and certainly, it just started downloading...
I'm going to try to get on today/tonight. Last I checked Origin had already downloaded an update and when I had it check for an update it didn't find one so u should be good to go.

The maps aren't as ungodly huge as Armored Kill on the console, i.e., you will occasionally see more than two enemies at the same time. If you're on the PC, no worries.

I really liked the 20 minutes I played before I got a driver error and then distracted for the rest of the night. I hope/plan to play more tonight.
I haven't played in months because I kept getting driver errors. I really like this game, but it's really frustrating to only be able to play in 20 minute bursts, especially if I get kicked out of games from it and lose everything. I don't think I'm going to buy Nvidia again.
