Although I really enjoy video games, none of my friends are really into them and it gets boring playing by yourself. Does anybody know if there is a good place to play video games in a social setting in Seattle? I'm not thinking of one of those cyber cafe-like places where you rent a computer and play Counterstrike, I'm looking for something more like a place with a few couches, a TV, and a number of consoles, where you can bring your games and gather round to watch people play or maybe wait to get a turn to play yourself.
I guess video game stores used to be sort of like this but now they are all corporate-owned and not tolerant of dawdling.
Seriously, does anyone have any ideas? I just thought of a great analogy: Something like that store Coffee and Comics in the U district, but with video games instead of comics. Somebody suggested Terra Bite in Kirkland over at the SA forums but that's a bit far away for me.
