Arcadecraft - Xbox Indie Game - Your Own 80's Arcade!
It looks like an arcade sim, like a sim of an arcade! And it looks pretty neat!
I added it to my download queue, will definitely give it a shot when I get home tonight.
Description from the site:
Enter the exciting world of Arcade ownership! Play through the start of the 1980's arcade revolution by buying and placing video games for your customers to play! Customize your arcade to increase its popularity! Modify machine parameters, manage your finances, capitalize on newly released games, but beware of the events and pitfalls that could bankrupt you!
Ok, did the trial, pretty neat. Feels a bit on the cheap, the Avatars just appear in your arcade, but seems deep enough. Those fuckers were buying the shit out of my soda, too! I think I'll drop the 3 bucks on it. The devs seem intent on updating, so that's cool.

Sadly, it looks like Ballz Arcade is here to stay.
Bought it, played for a bit last night. Fun. With a little more time put into developing it, it would feel like a $20 plus game. As it stand, $3 is perfect. It culls from your friend's Avatar list for the patrons, so I've had a gold Master Chief buying tons of soda and playing an Asteroids knock-off.
I'm still in 1980 and they say there are 80+ arcade games. I wonder if that means big, sit-down games and eventually a Street Fighter knock-off or if it's just classic stuff. Anyway, still neat.

Now, I just need a better name than Ballz Arcade.
Noah's Arcade.
Joan of Arcade
Penny Arcade
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
Ok, played a bit more last night. Got some sit-down games, got a cocktail game, added the power to do double the games in the arcade, bought a jukebox so sick 80's tunes are bumping.
It's a cool little game. It might be a little low impact, there could be a few more things to do, but it's neat. Running an arcade in the heyday is pretty grand.
