Frank Miller is a homophobe and a fascist. These views affect everything he writes. Anyone who goes into a movie that is heavily marketed as being written by Frank Miller should god damn well expect that.

The Spartan state was a fascist military state founded on enslaving an agrarian underclass.

300 is good for a few hours of entertainment. Why does every movie have to be a dramatic blockbuster, or suck? It's neither a historical documentary nor a witty screenplay lambasting current events and political motives
