My old Senns broke recently (EBA-inspired fit of rage), so I need a new headset. I wasn't terribly impressed with the Senns (great name for cans, but their consumer line is crap), so I'm looking for something higher end. For instance, Yamaha and AKG make high-end models for broadcasters, and whatnot.
Now, I'm also getting an Xbox 360 soon, and it occured to me that it would be awesome if I could use the same headset on both my computer and my console(s). So, does the Xbox 360 use a standard interface for its headset, or is it proprietary? What about other consoles?
No the 360 doesn't use standard headset jack like the old xbox did. I can no longer use my cell phone headset and am forces to wear their head curshing model that came with the 360 now....its awsome....
