How do I set up email on my new Galaxy note 10.1 tablet? [Solved]

From what I understand the main email app on the galaxy note 10.1 is by Samsung which is separate to the Gmail app. I'll use the gmail app but I wanted to use the Samsung one too. The address I'm trying to sync it up to is my uni email which is hosted on Gmail though has dexter@students....edu.au as the address. It's asking me first if it's a POP3 account, if it's IMAP or Microsoft exchange activesync.

I thought it would be POP3 so I selected this. If it is POP3 then what's the "POP3 server" I need to enter? And what's the security type? None, SSL, SSL (accept all certificates), TLS, TLS (accept all certificates)? And then which port do I select?

Thanks for your help, guys!

i would check out the unversity's IT site since not everything is the same. though its likely a imap with ssl tls. it should auto select ports based on security

These are the same type of questions for setting up an email account with another email viewer, such as Gmail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc. And yes, your university should have some pages set up explaining what their settings are. There is no "one size fits all" for email.
