So, yeah. After having my PSP for over 3 months I finally decided to put some videos onto it. So, I'm on a Mac, so what I've been doing is using Handbrake to rip a DVD a 100% quality but putting the slider up to, well, 100%, rather than setting an average bitrate.

Then I take that file that's spit out of Handbrake and drop it into FFMPEGX, and set it to the PSP preset, which is 300kbps for the video and 32kbps for the Audio.

So here are my questions:

What's the maximum video bitrate the PSP can handle? Same for the audio.
