i think the console is in jeopardy for the next few months until the big games hit, and we see how console sales are effected by that. Currently, it's selling really poorly.

Yeah, Nintendo isn't going to be put under by anyone other than Nintendo. The wii wasn't hurt by kinect or move, and it won't be hurt by this, especially with how you have to set it up.

The video card seems to be a bit higher than the gtx 650 in raw power, which isn't great but not bad either. The 650 is 1.4 teraflops.

Probably most of the manufacturing money is going into that memory. Holy shit though, using GDDR5 for all 8 gigs is insane.

I beat ff8 last night!

I still don't even understand what the fuck was going on in that game. It was so cool from a technical standpoint, I really liked the mechanics, drawing, junctions, all of that

but the story just kept making me want to turn it off every time i got to a new plot point

i would ask my wife 'does it really get dumber than this' and she'd just laugh at me

and then somehow, some way, it got dumber.
