We started at eleven and are currently twelve. @denada, what was the system we used for gold/ equipment? Something about item levels.
On phone, can't easily check.
For characters we've had a Warforged Berserker (Pony), a Minotaur rouge/sniper (Dubh), and a Hengeyokai Cleric (Dichotomy). The only name that spring to my sleepy mind right now is Rusty, the warforged.

The only background I recall, is Dubh's: police sniper turned adventurer.
worth noting that i put in powers specifically to help w/r/t Leading, albeit less effective as an actual leader. put in buffs for myself, as well.
My monk has a 2/encounter healing power from a bard multiclass; so Hullis won't have to go super-duper healer and can probably slant his build toward a controller or striker role if he'd like to.
And really, we haven't had many problems with healing so far...except for that time when a bunch of living spells split us up into three groups and then started wailing on us, but that was our own fault for having bad positioning.

-Start with (1) level 13 item, (1) level 12 item, and (1) level 11 item.
-Start with gold = to (1) level 12 item.
-You can spend your gold on whatever.
-Your characters know the Extraordinaries and have worked with them before. The details of that are up to you.
Now that christmas is over we've got the thread back, so let's see where we're at. @Antimatter are you satisfied with your character? @Hullis do you have anything done up yet?

I'm pretty satisfied, yep. Disappointed that since the character is a hybrid i have to use a few feats on armor and stuff, but hell, I like the flavor of her, and I like what I can do offensively. Plus, I have such high diplomacy and intimidate, that if nothing else I'll be able to do in the social aspect of RP what the character needs.
