The 80s was an amazing era in music, but the 90s also was as amazing, bringing bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana (whose drummer got to get his own band Foo Fighters), and some like Depeche Mode released amazing albums like Violator.
I really liked the Alternative Rock scene during this decade, and some music from other genres were pretty good.

I got into Alternative Rock but it was the thing at that time and certainly it was good . When I was a senior one of the German students was into Electronica or whatever it's called today
The first concert I went to with my own money was the Monsters of Rock with Megadeth, Metallica, and Slayer to this day I felt with was well worth every day of the things I did for the $60 to see it and beg for a ride
