Editing and Working With Video File Types
Hey there gang. I've got a doozy for you. I have been offered the task to take up editing and working on a recorded show and need to trim down the unnecessary bits and make it a tighter, more professional looking package. The downside, the files I have been given are no fun to work with at all. First off, these files were recorded in Australia and I suspect them to be 25fps PAL instead of anything nice and neat for NTSC- so I need to convert that. Second, I need to find a way to convert the files as right now, the only program to be able to open them is VLC player. The files are given to me as M2T files. I can use Handbrake to convert them to MP4 files but they get really strange flickering and strobing which is no bueno.
I really am drawing a blank as to what to do here. Btw, I am working on a Mac.
