"Eat the pennies." [The Venture Bros.] Thread
Posts
Wiki says 9 (with 5 named on the episode list).
Industrial accidents at the Venture compound tend not to leave a lot of evidence in the form of identifiable remains.
Or if they do, they're ant-sized and trapped in a subterranean maze.
Rusty actually built a device that actually worked, for his brother (who gave him $texas for it, but still)
except he didn't actually build it, a bunch of interns did

If most real-world corporate hierarchies are any indication, that still counts.
Eh, he got lucky that his ineptitude caused his interns to mutate to be super smart enough to complete the project. He probably would have been screwed if they hadn't had that mutation.
Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.
Halloween special counts as 1
Hour premiere counts as 2
If we get an hour finale that will be another 2
So we have 5 or 6 more episodes in this season. It's not a half either they said they were going to do smaller seasons of about 10 episodes each.

Law and Order ≠ Justice
The halloween episode does count as one but as I recall their special was contracted separately and wasn't part of the next season production-wise.

It'd be funny if Dean turns out to actually be good at super-science but hates it- but is dragged into it to fix his father's mistakes.
But that's not what they said concerning the episode count of this season.
Dean made a technical change, the downgrade, beneficial to helper, not his father.
I kinda like how in the first episode the main cast technically failed, but they ended up succeeding because of it. Except billy, he stood up for his principles of not making a fool of himself then defeated his rival.
It's funny how they tied the "really old computers" line early on with the fact he was playing Oregon Trail later in the episode.
Sidelining Brock is great, he dominated the story way too much.
Overall mean nit just this episode.Though his dream certainly explains some things.
I know a lot of people hate him but they've done a really good job of developing him as a tragic and sympathetic character
I just watched through the first season and the first 3 episodes of Season 2 this weekend
THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER
OMG
I LOVE IT SO MUCH

It always gets better.
Worth. the. Wait. I want to hear the announcement that the next 20 seasons have been signed up.
I just wish they would play this on saturday nights instead of sunday at midnight...i have to wake up early on monday to watch it before work.
Comon adult swim, you do realize that most of the people watching are old enough to actually have a job right?
Maybe he'd end up liking it if Rusty wasn't pushing him to like it.
United Repressed Grotesque Humanity, but I like yours better.
Not to mention awesome Hank.
Side note, did anyone notice when the ships of new mutants/etc came at the end, one of them was the Human Centipede? :P
I'm going to go with either Samuel Jackson or James earl Jones.
Noticing Sonny as a fellow Venturestein was one of many high points of this episode.
Venturestein himself was the janitor (and before that, he was the henchmen who we saw get killed by Brock from his own Pov) who kills Sonny in that episode, and you can see the two Scooby guys as well as the two clones they killed when they discovered the facility.
Also, I didn't realise that the Groovy Gang were also based on real people, which makes it all the crazier.
It's been pointed out before, but I love that Hatred is one of the most consistently well-meaning, compassionate characters on the show.
