Hi guys so I just did the easy part. I recorded a podcast! But now I have no idea about hosting it etc.
I did a quick google search but the market seems quite crowded and I thought I'd ask here as I'm sure a fair few of you have had experience with this. What's a good, cheap host?
Edit: I've checked Podbean's free service and it says you get 50 mb free a month. Now my first mp3 is already 58.9 MB... Do these things compress at all or is that the size of the upload? Because if that's all I can host for free it looks like I'll have to pay some hosting.

60 megs isn't uncommon if you're talking for more than an hour. If it's less than an hour check your settings and record at a lower quality and you'll get a smaller file.
I think Talkshoe still offers free hosting (but they make you put this annoying intro at the beginning of every show), and maybe Libsyn (http://libsyn.com/3/plans-and-pricing/) they charge but they're cheap to start ($15 a month for 250 megs).
I'd recommend getting a host or hosting it on some web space you're renting from a bluehost or dreamhost kind of site because with a hosting service you also get advanced statistics and help uploading to itunes, etc.
