Poker Night at the Inventory 2 - Telltale's Newest Genital Jamboree

Telltale's working on something new, currently referred to as "The Key Party." Every day this week, a new set of keys appears in the bowl. Obviously, their next game is not going to be an actual key party (don't google a key party), so current guesses are for a new Poker Night at the Inventory style game. the actual game reveal will occur on April 1st, but sleuths have already found Team Fortress 2 items giving insight into the Key Party's character pool.

Day 1
Sam and Max: Sam's keys to his DeSoto.

    Sadly, as mentioned before, all of the characters were slightly spoiled by a TF2 update, but I'm still curious as to what game type this will be.

    I wonder if they'll actually be voiced by Patrick Warburton, Bruce Campbell, etc.?

    Also wonder if these will be the only opponents or if it'll have a pool of possible opponents to play against?

    Edit: If new guests are supposed to arrive to the Key Party each day, that leaves three days unaccounted for until the 1st (four days if a guest also arrives on the 1st). Unless background NPCs like Moxxi are going to count.

    Then again, the whole thing's being announced on April Fool's Day, so who knows.

    Considering that virtually the entire draw of the game is the characters and their interactions... they damn well better get the real VO's. Otherwise... just pick another character to use, to be honest about it.

    Coming to PC, 360, and PS3.
    All characters voiced by their proper actors.
    GLaDOS runs the Poker Game.
    Borderlands 2 skins available as unlocks in Poker night for same system.
    Team Frotress unlocks for PC.
    Avatar unlocks for 360.
    Theme Unlocks for PS3.

    Bah, all this April Fool's tomfoolery mucking up an otherwise perfectly good thread about Telltale's latest slice of awesomeness.

    The original Poker Night was an inspired and pleasantly surprising bit of fluff, mostly for the banter between all these characters who otherwise have no business being anywhere near each other but still managing to play off each other quite well thanks to the writing. This outing's special guests are even more out there (Brock Samson I can understand considering Valve's previous Adult Swim promos with TF2, but Ash Williams? Where did that idea come from?!?); still, I'm totally buying into this one if only for the Claptrap goodness. I just love that little guy.

    Thanks to this game, I now know, from asking who that guy is, that his name is Ash and that ignorance of Army of Darkness is a sin and must be purged. By watching the movie.

    Also I am sold on this just to hear GlaDOS's commentary on the game.

    Something that I saw somewhere else but wasn't in the announcement linked earlier was that it's not just Texas Hold'Em this time, you can also play Omaha.

    I highly doubt that's the reason why. They still respect Valve as a company.

    It's likely just trying to keep fresh blood in the character rotation. Only exception is TF2 since item unlocks are huge for sales.
