Oh, I didn't have anesthetic, novacaine, nor even the gas. Dentist just said, "Well none of it's available, fuck it you'll be fine."
Yeah you should go. Also he spotted that another one of my teeth has a hidden cavity (that bastard), basically a tiny invisible hole in it through which things are slowly eating the inside of my tooth. So I gotta go back in a few weeks to get that fixed.
If I hadn't gone because of that OTHER tooth that was killing me, guess what? That could've turned into a second root canal.

Surprisingly, my gallbladder surgery last March was less painful.
